AGES 12-18
What's in your box? How do you use the tools available to you to your advantage? This critical-thinking and problem-solving workshop challenges participants to make "lemonade" from a box of lemons. We incorporate lessons in teamwork and collaboration, leadership, integrity, creativity, and work ethic. These are valuable life skills that go far beyond what's in the box!
Are you a thermometer or a thermostat? This character workshop addresses characteristics of integrity, empathy, attitude, gratitude, mediation and problem-solving, ethics and morals, respect, fairness, collaboration, accountability, discipline, honor, and reliability. It is designed to evoke critical analysis of who we are and how our interactions and attitudes shape the kind of citizens we become.
This workshop has two parts. Part 1 introduces participants to the principles of making a good presentation. Firm handshake, eye contact, and appropriate attire. Part 2 concludes with each participant making a class presentation and receiving appropriate and respectful feedback from their peers.

Middle and High School Girls
Are you looking to inspire, empower, and enlighten a group of girls? We offer a range of workshops and inspirational talks to encourage girls to tap into their magic, celebrate others, and validate their authentic selves. Contact us to bring Un-Shaded,The Sister Circle,orThe Vision Success Board workshop to your girls group or organization. Available for teens as well.
Spilling the Tea Girls Mentoring Club engages middles and high school girls.
Studies and statistics have shown that these are the critical stages when bullying begins, self-esteem and identity take shape, eating disorders develop, and the influences of peer pressure and the need to belong become
prominent influences. Joining a group like Spilling the Tea accentuates the positives while developing life-long
learning skills that will enhance the student’s creative and strategic thought-processing.
We expect to grow and expand Spilling the Tea in chapters across Philadelphia and and then nationally. Our goal is to create a movement of confident young women that are self-reflective, authentic, socially conscious about the needs of others, encouraging, and inspired to be their absolute best. Contact True Way for an RFP and schedule a meeting to determine if your school/organization is a fit for our program.
